Sometimes I really dig her albums (Ex Hex<\/a>) and sometimes not so much (Mountains<\/a>, though I was in a minority.) This one’s in the former category. She got some great, muscular tunes here and the melody takes a stronger role than usual. It’s a bit of a throwback to her Helium<\/a> days. Check out “Killed By The Telephone” and love it.<\/p>\n
