NPR’s Day To Day airs a story today about Highway 140 in California, which threads the tiny town of Mariposa on the way into Yosemite. Back in April a rockslide buried the road east of town. Rocks are still falling today. It’s proving to be the clot that’s starving the town of its lifeblood. the road was closed when I was up there<\/a> in May. I had no idea the slide was so bad.<\/p>\n
