Blogging.la posted a <a href=\"http:\/\/blogging.la\/archives\/2005\/08\/invaders_abduct.phtml\">mini-blurb<\/a> of the situation here, reacting to that Klaxon-call over at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/groups\/topic\/63581\/\">flickr<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/seanbonner.com\/\">Sean Bonner<\/a> suggests in an email that, &#8220;Unfortunately it seems whoever it taking them down isn&#8217;t just using the books, but any they can find as many brand new ones as well as privately owned ones have been removed.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Thanks for spreading the word, guys.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.sixsquare.com\/blog\/images\/0805\/invader_kingsroad.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Incidentally, I&#8217;m not associated with <a href=\"http:\/\/www.sixspace.com\/news.php\">sixspace<\/a> gallery despite the similarity of our domains. Eventually, this will all shift over to hollywoodland.la proper.<\/p>\n<p>Also, the invader pictured above is the one from the curb in front of King&#8217;s Road Cafe. It&#8217;s pretty beat up on its own.
